another day, another deviantID - right? my old one got a bit outdated, especially art-wise, so I wanted to make a new one, and taking the opportunity of adding a bit here and there.

there isn't much to say about this picture-wise, this is one of the situations where Tobias - living in the antarctic, where it's currently getting colder and colder, with winter starting again soon - likes to exaggerate a bit (wee seals have a lot of fantasy ´n.n`), other than that, he is rather on the quiet side, cheerful, but keeping himself in the background, being polite, caring for others and modest (which are virtues I value highly and try to adhere myself, even though I'm not always really good at it), and yet courageous when it comes to it.

Aww, how cute! n-n The fishes certainly seem intent on hearing Tobias' story though, however eggagerated it may be. *giggles* =]

Ooo, but I'd have to have a blanket to sit on...being a cold-blooded gecko and sitting on an icy slab is not one's most favourable way of keeping warm...n_n*

Eheh...n_n* I hadn't thought of that. Well, perhaps the fish can fetch a kelp blanket from underwater? n__n* *giggles*

*giggles* but you know, the water's really cold here, with all those floes floating around .. so I guess the kelp blanket would be pretty freezing too =3

Aww, I can't believe I never commented on your ID. I remember adding it to my faves a looong time ago, but since I couldn't comment, I couldn't really do anything about it, until I discovered your site. Sorry about forgetting. >_>;

Aww, Toby looks pretty adorable talking to the fish like that. X3 Is he trying to act like their whale leader? I wonder what he's saying. (Nice waterfall you got there! :D ) I could picture you teaching the young. Wait, I think you already did that, didn't you?

I dunno why, but I just happen to like the way you drew his chest. I mean, it's so furry. X3 It could act as a warm blanket! That would be useful during those cold nights; he could cuddle with a close friend to keep them warm. :D

Hehe, no worries ;P Actually I didn't even notice you didn't comment on it, it's not like I'd expect my friends to comment on literally everything I have, you know? ;3 I submitted it long before we got to know each other too, so someone going through old drawings to comment on them didn't really cross my mind, I don't even do it myself (well, I *very* rarely do, I remember doing it once, on one single drawing, but that was a special case X3 ).

(the picture wasn't really about teaching them or anything, more like telling a story and exaggerating, as usual ^^ )

The way Tobias is drawn bugs me today, he looks a little weird, buuut heh, that's how I drew back then. I could redo it and thought about that, but then again, the fish and everything looks fine, aaand it does its job as an ID very well, sooo it stays :3
